This song is about my intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. The Lord gave me this song to describe my relationship with him. I am with him each day and he is with me and he hears my cries and my pleas, i.e. my petitions, and he cares about me. His word within me is like a fire and I cannot hold it inside. I must give it out. And, one day I will be with him forever, and oh, how I long for that day.
